Norbert Lurz, Senior Advisor at EMIR, is a seasoned strategist and executive leader with over 35 years of experience driving value at the highest levels of global business and management consulting. With expertise in bridging high-level strategic foresight and operational excellence, Norbert works with CEOs, Boards, and Private Equity firms to implement actionable strategies that deliver sustainable business growth and innovation.

Before transitioning to advisory work, Norbert held transformative leadership roles in some of the world’s most iconic consumer-facing companies. He served as CEO & Managing Director for Central Europe and Global Division Head of Home and Hygiene at Reckitt, where he played a pivotal role in reshaping the business. Norbert’s extensive experience also includes 15 years at Procter & Gamble and The Gillette Company, where he held senior marketing and management roles in both Europe and the United States. Additionally, he served as a Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company, specializing in large-scale corporate turnarounds and growth strategies.

At EMIR, Norbert brings his deep expertise in Commercial Excellence & Growth, M&A and Private Equity, and Future-Ready Transformation, guiding leaders through portfolio adjustments, deal sourcing, digital transformation, and AI-driven innovation. He is also a Board Director at MACRO GROUP Pharmaceuticals in Cairo, where he plays a key role in directing the company’s expansion and strengthening its presence across emerging markets.

A thought leader and educator, Norbert is a Guest Lecturer on Corporate Strategy at London Business School, teaching MBA and Executive MBA programmes in both London and Dubai. He holds an MBA from the University of Tübingen, an MSc in Industrial Management from Stony Brook University, and is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
