Roberto’s extensive background spans senior leadership roles across operations, finance, business development, corporate strategy, and procurement at major oil and gas firms such as Occidental Petroleum (OXY), Hess Corporation, and BP. Drawing from this experience, he helps clients navigate multiparty negotiations, cross-cultural dynamics, and public-private partnerships to achieve meaningful outcomes.

An esteemed academic and thought leader, Roberto serves as a Negotiation Professor for EMBA, MIB, and Executive Education programs at prestigious institutions, including Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and Walsh School of Foreign Service (UAE), Northwestern University (Qatar), ESCP Business School (UAE), HULT International Business School (UAE), and CEU (Hungary/Austria). His teaching approach blends academic rigour with insights from real-world negotiation challenges, equipping leaders with the tools to build influence and resolve conflict effectively.

In addition to his advisory and academic roles, Roberto actively contributes to leadership development through his positions as President of Northwestern University’s Kellogg GCC Alumni Association, a Member of the Advisory Board of FIKRA AI Venture Studio, and a Member of the University of Sharjah’s College of Communications Advisory Board (UAE).

Roberto holds Bachelor’s and Master of Science degrees in engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on strategy and finance.
