During his tenure at Aon, Ray held key leadership roles, including managing the Human Capital Solutions (HCS) business across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, overseeing nine offices and leading a team of over 200 professionals. He also served as a member of the Global HCS Leadership Team. Before this, Ray served as Global President of McLagan, an Aon subsidiary focusing on performance and rewards in the financial services industry.
With over twenty-five years at Aon, Ray’s career spans various regions, including Asia-Pacific, North America, and the Middle East & Africa. He established the McLagan business in the Middle East fifteen years ago and in Asia Pacific nearly twenty-five years ago, solidifying McLagan’s position as the financial services arm of Aon’s rewards business.
Widely recognised as an authority in financial services compensation, Ray advises boards, CEOs, remuneration committees, government leaders, and senior executives globally. His clientele includes leading sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, and regional and global banks. Ray’s exceptional contributions as an international executive led to his nomination to the Forbes Top 50 Executives in the Middle East.
Ray joined Aon in 1997 and has held various leadership positions in the United States, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. Before joining McLagan, he served as a senior consultant at Watson Wyatt and Ernst & Young, where he gained valuable experience working in Asia and Canada.
